Police are searching for a driver after a pedestrian was struck along Interstate 95 in Norwalk early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred along I-95 northbound just past the exit 15 ramp around 12:30 a.m. according to the Norwalk Fire Department.
Officials said a moving company truck became disabled in the breakdown lane. As a tow truck was on scene working to hook it up a vehicle veered into the breakdown lane for an unknown reason striking the driver of the moving truck.
The 22-year-old driver was rushed to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries.
Officials said the vehicle that struck the driver then side swiped the tow truck as it fled the scene.
Police have not released details or a description of the vehicle involved at this time.
