EAST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

East Haven police are searching for two men accused of robbing an AT&T store on Saturday morning.

Police said the two suspects were dressed in dark clothing and were wearing masks when they entered the store on Foxon Boulevard and ordered an employee and a customer into a back room.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The suspects emptied a safe of iPhones into a bag, and also took an undetermined amount of cash.

They fled the scene in a silver Nissan Maxima with Massachusetts plates, which was later found in the area of Shelton Avenue and Goodrich Street in New Haven.

The suspects are described as two black males, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 215-240 pounds. One was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with dark jeans and the other was wearing a blue "Champion" hooded sweatshirt with dark jeans. The suspect wearing the blue "Champion" hooded sweatshirt was in possession of the black handgun.
