After two men illegally parked in Shelton, police arrested them for possession of Heroin on Tuesday night.
A man, who later identified as 25-year-old Joshua Sanchez, attempted to pull out of an apartment building parking lot around 5:20 p.m. However, police said the driveway was blocked by a work van.
After Sanchez exited the vehicle, police said he walked up the street where he was seen talking to another man, who was later identified as 26-year-old Justin Geffert, who was in another vehicle.
During their investigation, police determined Geffert had just bought heroin from Sanchez. Police seized heroin and crack cocaine in Sanchez's vehicle.
Sanchez was charged with illegal possession and illegal possession with intent to sell. Geffert was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Ansonia Police Department said there have an arrest warrant for Sanchez out for him.
"Shelton Police are continuing to be proactive in investigating drug dealing and are asking anyone with any information to contact the department. Calls may be confidential," police said in a release on Wednesday.
Police said the man, who owned the van, was found by police a short time later and moved the vehicle, which was improperly parked.
Both are being held on $1,000 bond. They are scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Wednesday.
