PD: Teen crashes car into concrete wall in Hamden

HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

A 13-year-old teen was arrested in connection with crashing a car into a concrete wall in Hamden on Tuesday morning.

A 2013 Toyota Corolla crashed in the Hamden Plaza, which was located at 2100 Dixwell Ave., around 6:30 a.m. An officer spotted the crash and located an unidentified teen from New Haven.

The teen was charged with operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.

Police said they found five other juveniles in the Corolla. Some of those involved in the crash reported suffering minor injuries, police said. 

Two of the juveniles for were charged with interfering with a police officer.

Following their investigation, police released all the juveniles to their parents.
