An United States senator for Connecticut is walking across the state.
Chris Murphy started his walk across Connecticut on Monday evening. The mission of the walk, according to Murphy, is "to listen to and get feedback from Connecticut residents."
On Monday, he walked more than 11 miles from Voluntown to Norwich. Before the walk, Murphy said he is "excited to hear from people across Connecticut, to stop into local businesses and get some great ideas to bring back to Washington."
After of his walk, Murphy arrived at the Greenville Fire Station in Norwich around 7 p.m. where he held a public forum with residents.
