GRISWOLD, CT (WFSB) -

State police took a man into custody after he ran away from troopers when they were serving him a warrant in Griswold on Thursday.

Police said they were serving a warrant to an unidentified man wanted for third-degree assault and risk of injury charges. Police added he was facing a failure to appear charge because he did not show up for a recent court appearance.
