WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) -

Police released surveillance pictures of people responsible for the burglaries at homes in Windsor Locks over the past several weeks.

The pictures show two men on a porch in Windsor locks. The release of photos come after police said suspects have forced their way into homes through doors, pushed window air conditioning units in and sliding doors. They have also forced windows open to get inside homes.

The burglaries, and attempted burglaries, have all happened during the evening and midnight hours over the past six weeks. Police added that the attempted burglaries or burglaries took place when most of the residences were unoccupied during the incidents.

The areas that have been affected are: Cypress Road, Reed Circle, South Center Street, Belaire Circle, Heather Lane, Garry Road, Tinker Drive, Bridge, and Briarcliff.

A variety of items including jewelry and firearms have been stolen during break-ins. Police said no weapons were displayed or implied during the burglaries. There were also no threats of violence in any incidents.

The photos released on Friday shows two men with medium/thin build. Police said "both suspects then concealed their faces and continued to break in and burglarize the home," after they saw the camera.

Anyone with information or who sees something suspicious should contact the Windsor Locks Police Department at 860-627-1461.
