HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

With a possible impact from Post-Tropical Storm Hermine, governor partially activated Emergency Operations Center in Hartford on Sunday night.

Gov. Dannel Malloy said his team has been monitoring Post-Tropical Storm Hermine for several days. The partial activation of the Emergency Operations Center to monitor Hermine and its potential impact on our coastal communities.

"After assessing the current forecast with emergency management officials, I have decided to partially activate the state emergency operations center on Sunday evening to monitor conditions across the state. This will also allow us to better coordinate any assistance to our municipalities that may be necessary," Malloy said in a statement on Saturday.

"Due to the low probability of being impacted by storm related emergencies," the City of Hartford will continue to monitor Hermine and Emergency Operations Center.
