Emergency crews were called to a brush fire in Lebanon that covered between 1 and 2 acres of land.
Multiple fire departments and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s forestry crew responded to the area of Leonard Bridge Road.
Officials from DEEP said the fire was reported at an old logging location.
As of a little after 5 p.m., officials said the fire was under control and that crews were expected to finish up before dark.
The winds from Post Tropical Storm Hermine were picking up on Monday, making it difficult for fire crews to fight the flames.
Crews had blocked off Leonard Bridge Road.
The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. on Monday.
