Community college wallet thief sought by state police

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

A man who stole a wallet from a community college employee is being sought by state police.

Troopers said the man, whom is seen on surveillance cameras, entered one of the offices of Middlesex Community College on Training Hill Road in Middletown.

Based on the footage, troopers said the wallet was snatched around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

After leaving the school, the suspect went to Walgreens on Main Street. Just before 2:45 p.m., he used the victim's credit card to buy some items.

Troopers described the suspect's vehicle as a gray or silver older model 4-door sedan, similar to an Acura TL with a sunroof.
