BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

Bristol firefighters were called overnight to a fire at a home that was currently vacant and undergoing renovations.

Crews were called to the house at the corner of Pine and Central streets just after midnight Saturday.

When the first truck arrived they found the home fully involved in flames.

Firefighters worked quickly to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes, but not before it heavily damaged the home and attached garage.

Officials said no one was injured, but fire crews found themselves very busy in the early morning hours, also responding to two automatic alarms at the same time as the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
