WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WFSB) -

A burglary in Willimantic left a business without some valuable art, according to state police.

Troopers said they responded to the Progressive Data Systems campus on Club Road shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Monday.

They said the burglary happened at some point over the weekend.

State police said they found that several items had been stolen, including paintings by artist Christian Seidler, antique clocks and Apple iMac computers.

The paintings were described as oil-on-canvas and very unique. The business said they are made of thousands of raised dabs of oil paint.

Most of them were large and measured around 30 inches by 44 inches.
