HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Trinity College will be working with engineers to evaluate the safety of all its college-owned properties in which students are living.

Over the weekend, more than 30 people were injured when decks collapsed during an off-campus party at a home on Broad Street in Hartford. One student remains in the hospital

The house is owned by trinity, but is not managed by the school.

Trinity said inspectors will be checking the safety of its buildings over the next few days.

"Our priority continues to be the needs of our students and our faculty will continue to be as supportive as possible in making accommodations for students with issues directly impacting their academic work including physical injuries, concussions, and emotional needs," the college said in a post on their website Wednesday night.

The college is expected to release more information in the "next two to three weeks."
