FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

A death investigation closed lanes of Interstate 84 in Farmington Friday morning.

State police said they found a body on the eastbound side of the highway.

They said there is no criminal aspect to the death, according to troopers.

The Department of Transportation said the left lane and center lanes were closed between exits 39A and 40.

State police said the left lane on the westbound side was also closed.

They have since reopened.

The discovery was made just before 7:45 a.m. They expected to clear the scene shortly after 9:30 a.m.

At one point, congestion was reported up to exit 43.
