PD: Pedestrian stuck by vehicle in Shelton this weekend

SHELTON, CT (WFSB) -

A 32-year-old woman suffered "serious injuries" after being hit by a motor vehicle in Shelton on Saturday night. 

The crash happened in the area of 441 Howe Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Several people called 911 reported that a woman, who was later identified Naugatuck resident Lisa Taylor, was hit by vehicle. 

Police said Taylor was hit by a vehicle heading southbound on Howe Avenue. Taylor was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with "serious injuries," police said. 

The Shelton Police Department Accident reconstruction team was called to investigate the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call the Shelton Police Department Traffic Division at (203) 924-1544 Ext. 4420
