A water issue at Norwich Free Academy has prompted the use of bottled water at the school.
School officials said the water on the campus has an unusual smell and taste.
However, Norwich Public Utilities said it tested the water Tuesday night and said there is no health issue.
NPU will be retesting the water on Wednesday and working closely with school officials until the issue is resolved.
The school said it will be using bottled water on the NFA campus for drinking and cooking until further notice.
NPU is flushing hydrants near NFA and throughout the system.
The public utility has identified a higher level of organic material coming from their reservoirs, but the water is safe.
