WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Seven people including five juveniles were arrested in connection with the theft of items from about twenty motor vehicles in the Elmwood section of West Hartford. 

Detectives in the West Hartford Police Department executed a warrant at 1195 New Britain Ave. on Thursday. While doing surveillance in the area, police said they "witnessed a drug transaction" involving a man, who was later identified as 21-year-old Quinton Prince. 

Police said Prince sold drugs to a 13-year-old at 1195 New Britain Ave.

When investigators entered the home on Thursday night, they said they found Prince in possession of illegal narcotics. Police said they also recovered stolen items including electronics. 

Police charged 18-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez, of Newington, with 20 counts of third-degree burglary, six counts of sixth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, risk of injury to a child and possession of less than .5 oz of marijuana. 

Prince was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, one count of possession of a hallucinogen, one count of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana, one count of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, one count weapons in a motor vehicle, one count of illegal tints, one count of unreadable license plate and one count of risk of injury to a minor.

Prince and Rodriguez are both being held on a $10,000 bond.
