State police are looking for a man who robbed a Canterbury bank Friday morning.
Officials said they responded to Savings Institute on Route 14 around 9:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a robbery.
A man entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and left with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.
The suspect fled on foot and possibly got in a dark-colored SUV.
He is described as a white man who is 5'7, late 40's to early 50's with a light brown beard.
Police said he was wearing a Yankee baseball hat, blue jeans, maroon hooded sweat shirt and dark colored work boots.
The Eastern District Major Crime Squad is investigating. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 860-779-4900.
