During a patrol, Norwalk Police’s Special Services Division observed two individuals loitering in the Washington Village Housing Complex on Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Upon further investigation, officers determined one of the individuals, a juvenile, to not be a resident of the complex.
Investigators engaged the two in conversation, where it was observed that the juvenile began to demonstrate nervous behavior.
It was soon discovered that the juvenile was in possession of a loaded .380 caliber handgun, as well as four bags of crack cocaine.
The firearm and narcotics were both seized and the juvenile was taken into custody.
