A woman in New Britain faces attempted murder charges after she slit a man's throat during an argument, according to police.
Raynebow Adams, 33, was arrested on Tuesday night, according to police.
They said they responded to a domestic disturbance call.
When they arrived, they said they found a man bleeding from the neck.
Police said the victim initially claimed that he'd been accidentally stabbed.
However, officers said they determined that Adams had been washing dishes during an argument. That's when they said she turned around and slit the victim's throat.
Police said the man was hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries. He was listed in stable condition on Thursday.
Adams was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and attempted murder.
She's scheduled to face a judge on Thursday.
