WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

A drought across much of Connecticut continues to take its toll.

Thursday, Waterbury Mayor Neil O'Leary asked people to voluntarily conserve water.

He noted that the city's reservoirs were down to 53.5 percent, which is enough water for 194 days.

He then asked people to pray for rain.
