WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A 76-year-old woman suffered “minor” injuries after a rollover crash in West Hartford on Tuesday morning.

Claudia Ryan, of Farmington was driving her 2011 Subaru Forester eastbound on Boulevard near Mountain Road around 11:15 a.m.

When she crossed onto Mountain Road, Ryan “veered from the travel lane and crashed” into two parked cars, which police said were parked legally on the southbound side of Boulevard.

According to police, the impact from the crash caused Ryan’s car to flip over and land on its own roof. Police said Ryan was able to get out of her own car.

Ryan was rushed to the University of Connecticut, police said.

Ryan told police that she looked down at the vehicle’s CD player and that caused her to take her eyes off the road, which led to the crash.

Ryan was cited for failure to drive right.

Police said all three vehicles suffered damage in the crash. The Forester sustained driver side, front end, and roof damage while the 2005 Honda CRV sustained heavy rear left side damage and 2005 Toyota Sienna sustained moderate rear end damage.
