Arrest made in Norwich armed robbery

NORWICH, CT (WFSB) -

An investigation into an armed robbery in Norwich that happened on Labor Day yielded an arrest.

Police said hey arrested Jordan T. Kondratowicz, 34, for the crime.

They said he robbed the Shell Gas Station on Taftville Occum Road in Norwich on Sept. 5, just before 9:50 p.m.

Officers responded to the business after a panic button was pushed.

They learned that the clerks were robbed at gunpoint and the suspect took several hundred dollars in cash. He fled in an awaiting vehicle.

No one was hurt.

Kondratowicz was arrested by way of a warrant on Wednesday.

He was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

He was held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond and was scheduled to face a judge on Wednesday in Norwich.
