A juvenile was charged with manufacturing a bomb after authorities said he was "producing explosive devices" in a wooded area in Cheshire in January.
Police said the suspect and a "were actively engaged in researching and producing explosive devices." The two were doing this activity in the area between Highland Avenue, which is also known as Route 10, and Academy Road, which is also known as Route 68/70.
The male juvenile, whose name was not released because of her age, was arrested on Sept. 26. He was taken to Waterbury Juvenile Court where he was charged with manufacturing a bomb, conspiracy to manufacture a bomb and reckless endangerment.
Police said a warrant is still pending for the second suspect.
