Emergency crews responded to a fire at the VA Hospital in West Haven on Tuesday evening.
At about 8:15 p.m., the West Haven fire marshal said the fire was under control.
According to Pamela Redmond, a hospital spokesperson, a piece of equipment had caught fire on a floor that houses an outpatient and residential treatment unit.
All patients were moved to another part of the facility while the fire department was on site. They were expected to be let back in to the unit by 11 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The hospital is located on Campbell Avenue.
