WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) -

Two men were arrested for shouting ethnic slurs and vulgarity towards a family at Bradley International Airport early Thursday morning.

State police said an airport patron told Bradley personnel about incident involving two men, who later identified as 27-year-old Nicholas R. Diorio and 29-year-old Anthony M. Diorio from Prospect, around 12:15 a.m.

The racial slurs were yelled by the Diorios at the family as they were trying to leave the airport. Police said the man and his family avoided confrontation with the two men.

The suspects fled the airport, but the victim got pictures of the Diorios as well as the license plate of their car.

Nicholas and Anthony Diorio were charged with intimidation based on bigotry/bias, interfering with police and breach of peace/threatening. They are being held on $10,000 bonds. Both men will be arraigned at Enfield Superior Court on Nov. 9.
