MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Meriden police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

Police said the suspect, a white male, entered the TD Bank on East Main Street around 4:30 p.m.

The suspect implied to the teller he had a weapon and demanded cash, police said.

Police said he fled the bank after the robbery with an undisclosed amount of money.  Officers are unsure if the suspect got into a vehicle or left the area on foot.

Anyone who may recognize the man in the photos is asked to contact the Meriden Police Department at 203-630-6334.
