It was a ‘thriller night’ in Plainville on Monday at a home on Metacomet Road.
The Bucci home was eerily decorated for Halloween, and the YWCA New Britain School of Dance performed Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
This was the third annual Halloween food/can drive to benefit the Plainville Community Food Pantry.
In 2015, the live Halloween performance event collected over 400 pounds of food/cans in just three hours.
It was also a frightening sight for trick-or-treaters and parents in the same area on Monday when a bear was spotted in someone’s backyard.
A Channel 3 camera was rolling as the bear wandered around, just before 6 p.m.
About 30 minutes later, the area was packed for the popular Halloween display. Police took extra precautions.
