A portion of Route 9 south was closed following a crash in Haddam Tuesday morning.
It happened between exits 10 and 9, according to the Department of Transportation. The highway has since reopened.
The Lifestar emergency helicopter was called to the scene and reportedly left.
State police said the driver suffered only minor injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital by the helicopter.
Investigators are looking for a cause.
State police said crews reopened the highway in the 6 a.m. hour.
