A school in Hartford will be closed for the next two days after a student hit sprinkler system on Tuesday.
The High Road School of Hartford High School was closed on Tuesday after the administration said an unidentified student, who was placed in an isolation room for "acting out," struck a sprinkler with her shoe.
The High Road School of Hartford High School is expected to reopen on Friday morning. A school spokeswoman said they are "are taking extra precautions to make sure the drying process is complete."
This incident caused extensive damage to the school, police said.
School officials said they do not have an estimated cost of the damage.
The High Road School of Hartford elementary school was still be in session on Tuesday.
