Police in New Haven are searching for a gunman accused of shooting a man while he was sitting in his car.
Investigators were called to the scene just after 10 p.m. Wednesday to George Street between Orchard and Day Streets.
According to police, Omar Gray, 42, of New Haven was shot in the right arm and is expected to survive.
Detectives said the gunman fired several shots after confronting the victim in his car.
New Haven police found Gray a block away from the scene after he ran away from the gunman.
