Crews were working to fix a 12 inch water main break in Hartford on Friday evening.
The 5 Corners Garden at Westland was "under water," according to police. Crews from the the Metropolitan District Commission were called to the scene and the main was shut down at 6:25 p.m.
No properties are affected by the shutdown. Repairs are expected to take five to seven hours.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
