A teenager was arrested in Torrington on Monday after being accused of placing a threatening post on a social media site.
Police received information about the post just before 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
Torrington High School was placed in a very brief “secure in place,” police said, and the student accused of crafting the post was located and arrested by police.
The 17-year-old student was charged with breach of peace.
The secure in place was lifted and the school day returned back to normal.
No further details about the post were released.
