Governor Dannel Malloy said Thursday the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven will be lit in red, white and blue for Veteran's Day.
The bridge, which is also called the Q Bridge, will be lit red, white and blue starting Thursday through Friday.
"“Connecticut is the proud home of nearly 280,000 veterans, and we join all of the residents of our state in honoring their service to our nation and the sacrifices they made to protect our democracy and our freedom,” Malloy said in a statement.
Connecticut is one of two states that has ended veteran homelessness, according to officials.
Job training programs for veterans have also been implemented.
