Firefighters in Harwinton rescued a cow that really wanted to take a dip in a swimming pool on Sunday.
They said they were called to a home on Locust Road around 6 p.m.
The cow apparently wandered onto the swimming pool cover and fell through.
It took heavy rope and a dozen people to pull the cow out.
The Harwinton Volunteer Fire Department posted a couple of photos to its Facebook page.
Firefighters said the animal was walking after the ordeal and didn't appear to have suffered any injuries.
