WILLIMANTIC, CT (WFSB) -

Police arrested two men wanted in connection with a murder in Willimantic over the weekend.

Police said 24-year-old Juan Chach and 26-year-old Ignacio Chach-Aperez were apprehended in Phoenix Tuesday with assistance from Homeland Security, U.S. Border Patrol, the U.S. Marshals Office and the Phoenix Police Department.

Both are being held as fugitives from justice and will be extradited to Connecticut. No date has been set for their return because they need to go through the Arizona Court System, according to Connecticut State Police.

Francisco Delazcruz-Coj was suffering from life-threatening injuries at his home on Pulaski Street early Saturday morning. Police said Delazcruz-Coj later died from his injuries at the scene.

Police did not release a cause of death for Delazcruz-Coj.

The warrants for Chach and  Chach-Aperez were entered into the National Crime Information Center.
