WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The West Hartford Police Department released surveillance video after several burglaries and break-ins were reported in town last week.

There were two burglaries at homes on Brian Road and Barton Street early Friday morning. Police said the suspects went into unlocked homes and took various items, like televisions.

On Saturday morning, police received several complaints about car burglaries on Beverly Road. Police said "while only a few small items were taken, it appears as if the suspects tried to enter the victim’s home."

The video shows two people with "their faces covered, attempting to enter the residence at least two times," police said.

The homeowner whose surveillance video captured the suspects on camera spoke exclusively to Eyewitness News on Tuesday, however wanted to remain anonymous.

"The thing that really shocked me is that they were just nonchalantly walking around, like you know there was no hurry in what they were doing," the homeowner said.

One of the men tried both back doors to get inside, while the other served as a lookout nearby. Thankfully, both doors were locked.

The homeowner said he has installed an additional security camera near his front door, and he's not taking any chances.

The burglaries are under investigation by the West Hartford Police Department Detective Division. There are no suspects at this time.

Anyone with any information about the burglaries is asked to call the West Hartford Police Department at 860-523-5203.
