NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) -

Monday morning's snow caused a number of spinouts and road closures along some of the state's more heavily-traveled highways.

In New London, troopers closed the Gold Star Bridge on Interstate 95 so the Department of Transportation could treat it.

The bridge, and I-95, reopened just after 7:30 a.m., according to state police.

Around 7 a.m., Interstate 84 westbound in Southington was briefly shut down by exit 32.

However, state police reported that the far left and right lines were open.

Crashes were also reported along Route 9 on the northbound side in Haddam and on the southbound side in Middletown.

There's no word on injuries in any of the crashes.
