Homes, cars hit by BB gun pellets in Old Saybrook

OLD SAYBROOK, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Old Saybrook are investigating after a BB gun was fired at homes and cars on Monday evening.

The shots were reportedly fired in the Cornfield Point area. Police said the shots were fired from a moving car.

Anyone with information on this is asked to call police at 860-395-3142.

Police in two other shoreline communities are investigating after cars were hit by BB gun pellets over the weekend.

Six cars were shot at in Clinton on Sunday, police said.

Those cars were in different parking lots when they were hit, including Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Clinton Crossings.

Similar incidents took place in Waterford on Sunday, in the area of the Crystal Mall, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Home Depot and Lowes.

It is unclear if all of these incidents are related.
