OLD SAYBROOK, CT (WFSB) -

Three people are in custody following reports of homes and vehicles being hit by BB gun fire in Old Saybrook.

Police identified them as Garrett Bush, 20, and 20-year-old Maxwell Bravi, both of Old Saybrook, and Bravi's mother Michelle Bravi.

Police executed a search warrant at 19 Farview Ave. Tuesday morning. They said that's what led to the arrests of Bush and Bravi.

Both suspects, whom are described as life-long friends, are known to police following drug offenses and criminal mischief.

Neighbors told Eyewitness News that police had been to the home on Farview Avenue many times over the last six months.

"'[It's] very overwhelming, but I'm happy that something is being done," said Jessica Demaio, Old Saybrook.

Bush was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit those crimes. His bond was set at $50,000.

Bravi was charged with unlawful discharge of a weapon, weapons in a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit those crimes. His bond was also set at $100,000.

The homes and vehicles were struck Monday night in the Cornfield Point area.

"Right now we have at least three houses and seven cars and we're still getting reports this morning from residents," said Lt. Kevin Roche, Old Saybrook police.

Police said everything was hit from a moving car.

They also said they've been working with departments in other shoreline towns that have reported similar incidents.

Old Saybrook police said they obtained "detailed confessions" of incidents in Waterford, Clinton, East Lyme, along Interstate 95 and at the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Six cars were struck in Clinton on Sunday, according to Clinton police. Those vehicles were in different parking lots, including at Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Clinton Crossings.

In Waterford, incidents were reported at the Crystal Mall, Dick's Sporting Goods, Home Depot and Lowes lots as well.

Waterford police posted a surveillance image to Facebook, which was shared by Clinton police.

Clinton police said they then received an anonymous tip around 10 p.m. Monday in which one of the suspects was identified.

That information was relayed to Old Saybrook police.

Old Saybrook police then located both Bush and Bravi after which they received the confessions.

Later on Tuesday, police said they were investigating possible drug activity at the home on Farview Avenue. They found over a half pound of marijuana, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Bravi's mother Michelle Bravi, who is facing several drug charges.

The boys are due in Middlesex Superior Court on Wednesday. Michelle Bravi is due in court on Dec. 6.

Police continue to urge victims to report any damage.
