DANIELSON, CT (WFSB) -

A Frito-Lay potato chips truck crashed through the wall of a martial arts studio in Danielson Tuesday morning.

State police said it happened on Wauregan Road around 4:45 a.m.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Rober Morano of Jewett City, was not hurt.

Troopers said Morano had been traveling south on Wauregan Road in Killingly when it crossed the center line and the northbound lane and continued into the parking lot of the martial arts studio. It slammed into the building.

A Ford Ranger was also struck, but no one was inside.

The Department of Consumer Protection was contacted because of the contents of the truck. It said the items it was carrying would have to be destroyed.

Eversource was also called to help with any utility issues.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
