The Vermont State Police have located a missing Connecticut hunter and say the man is in good health.
Trey Young, 45, was found just before 6 p.m. on Monday in Shrewsbury, Vermont, roughly 24 hours after he was reported missing. Young is from New Haven, Connecticut. The police did not say how long he was in town for or what he was hunting.
Young was reunited with his family after a medical evaluation.
The Rutland City Fire Department, Killington Search and Rescue, Vermont Fish and Game, New England Canine and Upper Valley Wilderness Rescue assisted in the search.
