Police are investigating an early morning shooting in which a man was shot in the groin in Hartford.
Units responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 84 Mather St at 1 a.m. on Thursday, police said.
The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and is expected to survive.
Police said victim told them the shots came from a red Toyota truck/SUV traveling east on Mather Street. The victim walked to his residence, and notified police.
