PD: Stratford roommates facing drug, prostitution charges

STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Two roommates in Stratford are facing drug and prostitution charges.

Police arrested two roommates, Ariel Perry and Kathleen Cox, who are accused of advertising prostitution on the website Backpage.com.

Detectives said Perry and Cox were allegedly selling heroin and cocaine from their residence, as well as using it to prostitute.

Police found heroin, cocaine, scales, paraphernalia and items related to prostitution.

Cox was also found to have a fully extraditable warrant out of Kentucky for drug related offenses.

Perry was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, and prostitution. She was held on a $500,000 bond.

Cox was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, promoting prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution. She was released on a $100,000 bond.

Police arrested a third person, Carlos Cordero, of Norwalk who was at the home. He was arrested after police found out he had two violation of probation warrants.

All are expected to appear in court on Dec. 8.
