On Thursday, a Hartford man was arrested and charged in three deadly shootings that happened in 2008.
Police arrested 34-year-old Harold Patterson, who is being charged in a deadly shooting that happened in June of 2008. Police said he is accused of then using the same gun to kill two more men in an unrelated incident, two months later.
The June shooting happened on Action Street in Hartford, and left 34-year-old Raymond “Flip” Hite dead. He was shot multiple times.
The two other men who were killed were identified as Lamar Gresham and Carlos Ortiz. They were killed in a drive-by shooting that happened in August of 2008 on Edwards Street.
Police said Patterson is being held on a $3 million bond and will appear in court on Dec. 9.
The case is being prosecuted by the Office of the State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of Hartford.
Patterson was arrested as a result of an investigation by the Cold Case Unit of the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney in conjunction with Hartford Police, the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Office of the State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of Hartford.
