Police in Wallingford said they nabbed a suspected heroin dealer on Monday.
Felix Sierra, 27, of Hartford, was arrested on narcotics-related charges.
Police said Sierra traveled from Hartford to Wallingford to sell heroin.
He was intercepted during a motor vehicle stop on South Colony Road in Wallingford before a transaction could take place.
Police said they found 50 bags of heroin and more than an ounce of marijuana. The drugs were seized.
Sierra was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, interfering with an officer and operation of a motor vehicle with tinted windows.
Police said he was released after posting a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to face a judge in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 4.
