State police and ambulance personnel delivered thousands of toys to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford on Tuesday.
They said the toys will be delivered to patients throughout the hospital and beyond.
Troopers said they took in the toys as part of their "Stuff a Cruiser" toy drive.
They said this year marked the drive's 20th.
The toys were collected between Dec. 15 and 18 at Toys R Us locations in Manchester, Newington and West Hartford.
They were delivered by state police cruisers, ambulances and a box truck.
They're meant not only for inpatient and outpatient children, they'll also be given to each child brought to the Connecticut Children's emergency department this year.
