Police are responding to a shooting on Englewood Avenue in Waterbury.
Police shut down the road and a driveway leading to a multi-family home at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The area is near Hamilton Park.
Police said a man was standing in front of 38 Englewood Ave. when a dark-colored four-door sedan drove past him and fired two shots. The victim was struck in the right ankle and left thigh.
A .40 caliber shell casing was located in the area, according to police.
The victim was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
He has not been identified.
There's no word on a suspect
Police called the investigation active and ongoing.
