WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

An argument with a neighbor's visitor led to a West Haven man's arrest after police said he took out his shotgun.

Daniel Dacosta, 38, was taken into custody around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said they responded to a threatening complaint on Campbell Avenue.

After they arrived, they said they learned that Dacosta pointed his shotgun at the visitor following the argument.

He was charged with breach of peace, threatening and reckless endangerment.

Police said Dacosta was held on bond.
