Eight businesses were found to allegedly have served alcoholic beverages to minors after a series of compliance checks on Thursday night.
The Enfield Police Department along with the Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division ran the unannounced liquor compliance checks for numerous restaurants and bars on Thursday night.
Police detectives and state liquor agents said they tested 26 locations for compliance with the help of four volunteer minors who had been trained by the Governor's Prevention Partnership.

The businesses that allegedly sold to a minor will have to appear before the Liquor Control Commission for an administrative hearing.
